What Is an Activision ID?

Activision ID is an account for Activision games that enables cross-progression in Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Warzone, Black Ops Cold War, and future entries to the franchise. They offer exclusive rewards and give you access to intel to improve your gameplay.

An Activision ID will have a display name of your choosing, followed by a string of randomly generated numbers. You will need to give the entire name and string of numbers to someone else if you want them to add you and vice versa.

Activision IDs allow you to be friends with someone through Call of Duty without adding them to your console-specific friends list. It also allows you to have a friends list that’s in-game, which is useful if you and your friends are on separate game systems but want to win at Warzone together.
