How to Sync Other Email Accounts With Yahoo Mail
If you have multiple email addresses through more than one email provider, view all your incoming messages in Yahoo Mail. Learn how to synchronize your other email addresses with Yahoo so that you get all your mail in one place.
To synchronize other email providers with your Yahoo Mail account:
Select the gear in the upper-right corner of Yahoo Mail, then select More Settings. Select Mailboxes. Select Add mailbox. Select your email provider, then enter the requested information and follow the on-screen prompts. Log in to the email address you just added to Yahoo Mail, open the verification email, then follow the link inside. Enter your Yahoo Mail login credentials, then select Verify.
To see mail you’ve received from another account, select its name in the navigation column on the left (under Compose). You’ll find the number of emails you’ve received through that account in parentheses next to the account name.
How to Send Email From Other Accounts Through Yahoo Mail
To send emails from other accounts via Yahoo Mail, select the account from the left column, then select compose to start writing a message.
How to Send Email From Other Accounts With Yahoo Mail Basic
In Yahoo Mail Basic, you can send email through another provider, but you can’t receive it. To set up a send-only address:
Select Account Info in the upper-right corner of Yahoo Mail Basic. Choose Options, then select Go. Select Mail Accounts. Select Send-only Address. Enter the requested information: In the Account description text box, enter a descriptive name for the account. In the Email address text box, enter the email address from which you want to send email. In the Name text box, enter your name. In the Reply-to address text box, enter the email address to which you want replies sent. If you linked another email account using the full-featured version of Yahoo Mail, you will be unable to add it as a send-only address in Yahoo Mail Basic. Scroll down and select Save. Log in to the email address you just added to Yahoo Mail, open the verification email, then follow the link inside. Enter your Yahoo Mail login credentials, then select Verify. Compose a new Yahoo Mail message, select the From drop-down arrow, and choose the address you want to send from.
In the Account description text box, enter a descriptive name for the account. In the Email address text box, enter the email address from which you want to send email. In the Name text box, enter your name. In the Reply-to address text box, enter the email address to which you want replies sent.
