This week, Destiny 2 added a Raid challenge centered around the Pleasure Gardens portions of the Leviathan, tasking players with only shooting one flower per each stealth round. When players return to the safe room after a damage round, the rule resets until the encounter is complete. There’s certainly plenty of guides detailing how to accomplish this challenge, but Reddit user ItsGShark has found a way to get through this very fast without much difficulty.
The Setup
Before jumping into the Raid, it’s advised that players come equipped with a rocket launcher that features the clusterbomb perk. Typical favorites would be Curtain Call or Sins of the Past. In addition, players will want to pick a subclass with the strongest grenades and abilities. In this case, the following subclasses are recommended:
Warlocks - Voidwalker with vortex grenade and the Attunement of Hunger abilities. Hunters - Nightstalker with voidwall grenades and Way of the Pathfinder abilities. Titans - Striker with double pulse grenades and Code of the Earthshaker abilities.
What To Do
When the Pleasure Garden encounter begins, the top two prism holders should scout for glowing flowers. During this initial phase, ItsGShark points out that there are only two possible spawn locations for both flowers, one closest to the start point either on the right or left side, and then one in the middle section on the opposite side of the first flower. So if the first flower appears on the left side, closest to the players, the second flower will appear in the middle section of the room on the right side. His video also contains a detailed minimap during the gameplay, giving viewers a good look at where the team is in conjunction with the flower locations.
During the Damage Phase, players can simply unleash their rockets and grenades to do a tremendous amount of damage to the war beasts. If the team isn’t using the correct setup or if the light levels are a bit lower than expected, ItsGShark also recommends weakening the dogs and then doing another flower run.
While many regard the Pleasure Gardens as one of the most difficult phases of the Leviathan Raid, players like ItsGShark show that the task isn’t as impossible as it may seem at first.
Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
