How to Control Audio With Two AirPods Connected to iPhone
Once you’ve connected two AirPods to your iPhone, you need to know how to control the audio, raise or lower the volume, and more.
Controlling what audio you’re listening to is easy: Whoever has the iPhone in their hands can select the music, podcast, or other audio both people listen to. There’s no way to select audio from the AirPods.
To control the volume for both AirPods, follow these steps:
Open Control Center. Tap the Volume slider. You can change the volume for both AirPods at the same time by moving this slider. You’ll see two volume sliders, one for each set of AirPods connected to your iPhone. Adjust each one separately to give each listener their own volume. You can also control the audio via your AirPods controls. However, changing the volume this way only changes those specific AirPods.
How to Disconnect AirPods from iPhone
Had enough of sharing audio from your iPhone? Disconnect your friend’s AirPods from your iPhone by following these steps:
Open Control Center and tap the AirPlay icon in the music controls. Tap the checkmark next to your friend’s AirPods so the checkmark icon is removed. This disconnects their AirPods and stops the audio sharing.
